Working in a group of 3, we were assigned a user with a disability and conducted an interview with them to find out what day-to-day activities they enjoyed doing but found difficult. Using this information, we were to formulate a design brief and start developing ideas, conducting further interviews to gather more information during the design process, and ultimately resulting in the creation of a prototype solution.
The brief devised by our group was to design a newspaper reading aid for a user with limited arm strength and dexterity.
